Our Reading team provides personalised care for adults, children and families, with gentle support for patients experiencing dental anxiety. Children aged six and over can receive Relative Analgesia using nitrous oxide, helping them remain awake, responsive and able to communicate during treatment. We provide children's assessments, fillings, extractions, preventive dentistry, fissure sealants and ongoing care under Relative Analgesia. Our clinic also offers same-day appointments where available, emergency dental care, free parking, disabled access and interpreter arrangements when required. English, Polish, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali and Romanian are spoken at the practice. Patients can access our clinic easily from Reading and Reading West stations, with bus routes 15a, 15, 16 and 17 nearby.

Issmaeel Sohawon (GDC 297675) is undertaking additional training in oral surgery and implantology, supporting patients who are considering this treatment. Consultations are priced at 75, while single implants start from 3,250, with finance plans available. Suitable anxious patients can also access IV sedation.

After having many very bad experiences at various dentists in Reading I came across perfect smile about five years ago when I was referred to them for wisdom tooth removal under sedation. I was so happy with the treatment I received I decided to switch from my NHS dentist to private at perfect smile. Of course it's more money but for the excellent treatment I receive every time I visit it's totally worth it. I have had ALOT of work done by Gerrit Synman who is fantastic, he always makes sure I am calm and is a real perfectionist when it comes to his work. I used to dread the dentist, now it doesn't bother me at all. I can't recommend this dentist enough. Very grateful I found them and hope that Gerrit is not planning on retiring any time soon!

On my visit to the clinic for a sedation appointment to extract my tooth, I was feeling very nervous. Dr Issmael and Nurse Lalita were absolutely fantastic, the procedure went smoothly without any hiccups and I didn't feel a thing of what was happening. They made me feel calm. It was all well organised and they ensured that the chaperone does not leave the area.
The Receptionist was very helpful and even checked up on me after the procedure.
Would recommend this clinic to anyone who has anxiety.

Extremely nervous patient here.I can not recommend enough!From the first contact,to sedation and extraction everybody was absolutely briliant.Mr Riaz explaning every move he was about to make with endless patiense, to Linda who made sure I didnt run away last minute:).I cant remember everybodies name unfortunately but every single person we came in contact with was just wonderful.

My husband needed extractions and was very anxious about the procedure. We were looked after at reception by Linda who put us at ease. Jessica performed the extractions assisted by Delfi, both were super kind and took it at my husbands pace, explaining about sedation, chatting to him and keeping him relaxed throughout. We were looked after post op by Maggie who explained after care and followed up with us the next day to check on him. He was so relieved the pain has now gone and we would like to thank everyone again for their kindness and understanding as well as doing a brilliant job.

I went yesterday for my wisdom tooth extraction. What a marvellous experience. Staff is friendly professional and so kind. Charges were so reasonable. My Surgeon was much experienced and explained whole process before sedation. Everything was perfect and fine. I am very satisfied. Would highly recommend everybody go and have a perfect smile.

Thanks to all of the team who looked after my son yesterday. The reception team were very friendly and welcoming, as was the dental nurse in the room with Muddassar.
Muddassar took the time to introduce himself and explained what was going to happen - he ensured that we understood and gave us the opportunity to ask any questions.
Then we met James, the anaesthetist - he was chatty, calm and also made sure we knew what was going on.
I left the room for what only felt like 10 mins and then was called into the recovery room, where James and the lovely recovery nurse, Maggie were looking after my son. They explained all the after care top tips and gave me information leaflets. Maggie also made sure I knew their contact number and opening hours (or 111) for follow up help, if needed.
I could not fault this experience - my son even said "I was a bit nervous and I didn't know what to expect but that was actually quite fun and I wouldn't mind if I had to do it again!"
Hopefully we won't need to come back again but I will definitely be recommending you to anyone else I come across, who may need your services - you were FANTASTIC!

An absolute dream team at perfect smile, they went above and beyond for my Son who has a fear of the dentist. Not only did they make him feel at ease and safe but the team stayed late to finish his treatment plan in one sitting knowing we travelled a fair distance to get there. Definitely highly recommend and a huge thank you to Abigail and her nurses Jocelyn, Fiona and Jordan, we really appreciate everything you did for us.

I apologise for being very late in posting my review. I wad referred to this clinic early this year and was treated with politeness, kindness and great care. This was from the receptionists right through to the nurse who looked after me following sedation. The dentist was good and very kind, as was the anaesthetist. I cant thank you enough for the treatment I received yesterday. I was absolutely terrified at the prospect of having a root removed that was deep in the gum. The anaesthetist and surgeon couldnt have been kinder. I dont know how I would have coped without their care and support. Many, many thanks.

Had 2 crowns fitted under sedation, as I am an extremely nervous patient when visiting the dentist. They were kind, professional, patient and very friendly. This extended to the staff as well. I was particularly impressed with how I was treated without judgement or made to feel unimportant or silly. Brilliant service from all at this practice!

Was really good and made me feel comfortable and did not fill the canderling go in was a lovely man that did it and his assistant was very nice too they where really good and would go back there aging in a flash if I needed other tooth out I had my wisdom tooth out all I felt was tucking but that was it I was sedated as well and I was okay then they took me to recovery and laid there for a little bit then I went home in the car with my mum and dad . Thx for a good experience with your dentist and assistance was very nice and the receptions was really nice to and made me feel really comfortable.

Had an extraction done today for 2 wisdom teeth and a front tooth. I suffer with panic attacks so I was a mess as you can imagine however once the sedation went in within 15 seconds I was gone and woke up after what felt like a few minutes. I want to thank all the colleagues who were involved as they were all very informative and told me everything that was going to happen and made me feel much more calmer about what was happening. Exactly the type of support I needed which was perfect! Heres to a simple, easy recovery!

Been meaning to write this review for a while but kept forgetting! Such a lovely dentist and experience from start to finish. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly and the dentist himself took time to explain to me every step and talk me through everything. Although I'm anxious I did not require sedation on this occasion and that was mostly because they were so kind and lovely. Definitely advise usinf them even if you're only a little anxious as the staffs demeanour is totally different to anywhere else I've ever gone and just so lovely and calming.

The experience my extremely anxious partner had was nothing short of incredible.
Linda on the front desk and Dr Bhatti were both so warm and welcoming and put him at ease straight away. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Best dentist we've been to, would recommend to anyone, especially nervous or anxious patients.

Brilliant from start to finish! My son was referred from his usual dentist, heard back within a week and had the appointment a week later.
Receptionist was friendly.
Waiting room was cosy, sofas rather than uncomfortable plastic chairs.
The male nurse was brilliant, very good with anxious teenagers! He made the whole process a walk in the park.
The male dentist was fantastic and the lady that was with my son in recovery was so lovely too.
I was sad I didnt get to thank you all.
I wish I was more local as this place would be perfect for me! Thank you so much!

I went here to have two teeth removed so I can have braces fitted in June. I have an irrational fear of dentists and would not normally be able to sit quietly through a cleaning let alone an extraction. The team here were amazing, not once did I feel uncomfortable or scared. They made sure to thoroughly explain the procedure to me and my mother and made sure I felt comfortable with what they were doing. The anaesthetist was lovely, he had a nice chat to me while putting in the cannula (he did it very well I might add - I had no bruising afterwards) and then sedated me slowly. It felt like 10 seconds later and I was in recovery. I felt no pain as they had removed the teeth gently to minimise trauma and bruising. Even once the anaesthetic and muscle relaxers had worn off I still had no pain. I would seriously recommended this clinic to anyone with fear or anxiety towards dentists as I was very well looked after. Thank you soo much for taking care of me I really appreciate it!
