We have been providing dental care since Richard Farrant qualified as a dentist in 1997, bringing over two decades of clinical experience to our practice. Catherine Farrant joined the team in 2019 after qualifying in 1998, adding her own expertise in general dental care across the Bournemouth and Poole area. In 2006 Richard purchased Canford Cliffs Dental from the previous owner, retaining many of the original staff and patients to ensure continuity of care. When we took over, the practice was a modest singlesurgery setup housed in a converted part of an 1980s family home. Recognising the need for growth, we embarked on a comprehensive renovation in 2014 that lasted approximately one year. The refurbishment created two modern surgeries, a central sterilisation room, staff and patient facilities, and a spacious, wheelchairaccessible reception area.

Throughout the upgrade we maintained our commitment to a calm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for every patient. Our team adheres to strict professional standards, using evidencebased techniques and keeping uptodate with continuing professional development. We focus on clear communication, explaining treatment options fully and involving patients in every decision about their oral health.
