Our Team

At the heart of Clark Dental Clinic is a team of dedicated dental professionals passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. We take pride in our expertise and strive to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where our patients feel at ease.

Dr. Pauline Clark, BDS, the founder and owner of Clark Dental Clinic, is a highly experienced dentist who has served the Fraserburgh community for many years. A former pupil of Fraserburgh Academy, Dr. Clark graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1987 and has extensive experience working in various dental practices in North East Scotland. Dr. Clark's commitment to providing the best possible care for her patients led her to introduce the 'Practice Plan' private dental scheme, offering patients greater flexibility and convenience. Dr. Clark is a local resident with a family and is deeply invested in the well-being of her patients and the community.

Joining Dr. Clark is Dr. Michael Clark, BDS, who brings a youthful dynamism and modern expertise to the practice. After completing his dental training at Dundee Dental School in 2013, Dr. Michael Clark joined the team at Clark Dental Clinic in 2015. He began working at the practice during his school years, gaining valuable experience and discovering his passion for dentistry. Dr. Michael Clark is fully qualified in facial rejuvenation and dermal fillers, offering patients a comprehensive range of treatments for their dental and aesthetic needs. In his free time, Dr. Michael Clark enjoys playing football, both with Faithlie United where he acts as player/manager, and with his young daughter Collins.

The clinic's roster also includes the experienced Dr. Katrina Clark, BDS, who joined the practice for her training year after graduating from Dundee Dental School in 2017. Dr. Katrina Clark has since made a lasting impact on the clinic and its patients. Patients benefit from her commitment to NHS dentistry, with appointments available on Wednesdays. Dr. Katrina Clark is currently on maternity leave but is expected to return in Spring. When she is not at the clinic, Dr. Katrina Clark enjoys dancing and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters.

Joyce Buchan, the clinic's highly skilled Hygienist, brings extensive expertise to the team. With over 40 years of experience in dentistry, Joyce's calming presence and dedication to patient comfort make her a valued member of the clinic. After qualifying as a therapist in 1994 at Glasgow Dental Hospital, Joyce has honed her skills in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, providing compassionate and effective care to patients. She enjoys building rapport with patients and takes pride in delivering exceptional oral hygiene treatment.

Rounding out the dedicated team is Abbie Colley, the Dental Therapist who started her journey at Clark Dental Clinic as a work experience student at age 14. Upon completing her BSc in Oral Health Sciences at Dundee University, Abbie qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2020. She is currently pursuing her dental studies at Aberdeen University, eager to expand her skillset and provide even more comprehensive care to patients. Abbie's enthusiasm and dedication to learning are highly valued by the team and she continues to grow as a dental professional.
